"Rotational grazing is "working" now, soil is no longer improving but at least my livestock is in ok body condition"
While rotational grazing is much better than continuous grazing, it falls short of potential. The results that you can get by applying the four pillars of the Total Grazing Academy can be 3 to 5 times better as you enhance the symbiosis between your livestock, grass, soil, and you. Plus, by building on top of these 4 Pillars foundations you can keep improving your land's productivity.

"It's better for the grass if you don't graze it too hard"
First we need to define overgrazing, overgrazing happens when our livestock returns to re-graze a plant before it has fully recovered its energy reserves.
When we practice Total Grazing we only graze fully recovered forage which is then grazed with high harvest efficiency.
This means a couple things.
The rest periods will be 2-5 times longer than under rotational grazing!
This allows your best forage species the opportunity to grow deep and fat roots. It also means that our solar panel (the number of growing points per square yard) will be much bigger which means that both production and soil improvement will be enhanced.
Belief #3
"Total Grazing will leave bare soil"
This is probably the most common misconception.
Total grazing should not leave your soil bare.
If there is bare soil then you are not doing Total Grazing Program correctly.
Total Grazing focuses on high harvest efficiency of grasses that are fully recovered. This allows higher productivity and to stockpile on a larger area.
After Total Grazing, you will see your soil evenly covered by strong roots and manure evenly distributed with enough residual to cover the soil.

"I am already doing some type of Total Grazing, I don't think I need to enroll"
