Hello, I am Jim Elizondo from Real Wealth Ranching and would like you to consider your whole farm or ranch profitability.

This is essential for you and your family, then, after maximizing your profits you want to increase your capital.聽

Have you considered how important it is for your livestock health, that the different mineral elements they require are balanced? We need to realize that for any given mineral element that your livestock needs for optimum health there are others which can make them unavailable to your livestock. Mineral elements like: calcium, phoshphorous, zinc, sulfur, selenium, potassium, magnesium and others.

I was recently at a ranch in the west where we went from 80 cows with calves under continuous grazing to a potential 800 cows with calves after implementing the total grazing program for two years. This is amazing and a testimony of what can be achieved with this grazing program.

Well, in that ranch there is a huge s...

#117 Long-Lived Soil Organic Carbon | Carbon organico de larga vida en el suelo

Hello, I am Jim Elizondo and very happy and grateful to be here today, please pay close attention as today I will reveal something that has been hidden for thousands of years and humans have just recently found about it.

When a secret in nature is hidden it can be due to very different factors but mostly happens because of man鈥檚 arrogance.

People, especially those that have a degree and a Masters and a Doctorate believe they know all there is to know about a matter or subject, but they can be totally wrong and it shows.

Today I want to talk to you about long-lived soil organic carbon and how it is really created, but first let鈥檚 mention the importance of this long-lived soil organic carbon for your soil health, plant and livestock health and your economic health

Long lived soil organic carbon is different than simply organic matter because organic matter can be separated into short cycle or long cycle carbon.

It is long cycle carbon that ou...

Hello, I hope you are healthy and optimistic today, welcome to your Fat Wallet podcast.聽

We have all heard of the optimistic, the pessimistic, and the realistic, right? Well I much prefer to be realistic but with an optimistic view.聽

Why? Because being negative stifles creativity and human creativity is the most powerful force of nature.

Ever wonder why God gave us the command of being good stewards of the land? I am sure God gave us our creativity to be able to be our best, and we should be our best!

Why am I talking about this? What am I getting to?聽

Well, if you go to any grazing program out there you will see that they all lead to mediocre results, and I say mediocre results compared to potential. Potential we 谩re achieving with the Total Grazing Program.聽

But, what I want to emphasize today is more important that just talking about the differences between grazing styles: non-selective vs selective grazing

Today, I want to tell yo...

Hello! Welcome back to our Fat Wallet blog where our goal is for you to maximize your profits while your land improves the fastest through your management.

I hope you are having fun, have good health and are striving towards your goals. This is what gives us purpose in our lives.

When we want to be better, we need to be able to measure our progress or lack of progress.

Have you read the Holistic management phrase that says: Plan, observe, adjust and re plan? It is good advice, so let鈥檚 apply it to our grazing business.

We know that grazing management is where most of our profits will be made by implementing the total grazing program with adapted livestock and selection guidelines that follow nature and doesn鈥檛 contradict it, we can increase our grass productivity 3 to 5 times compared to rotational grazing in any of its forms or names. We need to have some nutrition knowledge when grazing to achieve the highest health levels in our livestock ...

#114 Total Grazing Academy | Student Interview with Josh Teague of North Carolina

Uncategorized Jun 26, 2024

Hello, I am Jim Elizondo from Real Wealth Ranching.

I hope you are having a wonderful day, with good health and especially with a good attitude as we know that our attitude will have an enormous influence on the results we get when dealing with other people or even with our livestock!

Today I want to invite you to watch two YouTube videos for free.

One is of a student panel interview with Josh Teague of Running T beef farms in North Carolina聽

The other is again of Josh Teague showing how the Total Grazing Program works in creating a vigorous regrowth after nonselective grazing when done on well-recovered grass.

This is what a total graze is; a high harvest efficiency grazing or nonselective grazing on well-recovered grass and done in less than 3 days so that your livestock do not regraze the regrowth which would be overgrazing.

Overgrazing is not severe grazing as many people think, overgrazing only happens when we allow our livestock to graze forages before they have recovere...

Hello, I am Jim Elizondo and would like you to consider your whole farm or ranch profitability.

This is essential for you and your family, then, after maximizing your profits you want to increase your capital.聽If we consider our investments in cattle/livestock, and land, plus machinery needed to run our operation we can look at return on investment.聽Does return on investment puts you off?

Let me tell you it turns me on! Why? Because it is a real benchmark that can be used anywhere and everywhere and we should use it more to make better decision when investing or spending money on our business.

Now, let me explain before your eyes glaze over:)

Have you considered your perimeter fences maintenance or upkeep? Do you factor in your land taxes or lease cost of the pastures you control, do you consider your machinery depreciation? Even if your machinery is old, it will need to be replaced sometime.

Then, you need to consider labor or wages, did yo...

#112 Total Grazing Academy | Student Panel Interview with Adam Rabjohns of NSW

Uncategorized Jun 11, 2024

Hello there, I am Jim Elizondo of Real Wealth Ranching and our goal is to have you reach maximum profits while you improve your land the fastest and at a low cost by following nature.

We have a student panel video that I would like you to watch. Many times we may understand something better when the facts or sources are closer to us, and many times we can relate better if the person explaining is in the same type of environment that we are, or of the same age and experience as we are.聽

With this in mind, we started this student panel series with outstanding聽Total Grazing Academy graduates who have had very good success improving their land while reducing their costs.

Today, I want to share with you the interview of Adam Rabjhons of New South Wales Australia who is in a cool-season forage environment but with acidic soils which makes it more difficult but he has the results now.聽

When you start to manage your grazing correctly, applying the 4 pillars of Real Wealth Ranching, you ...

#111 Total Grazing Program's Real Results You Can See for Yourself

Uncategorized Jun 04, 2024

If you have heard about the Total Grazing Program or聽Real Wealth Ranching or Jim Elizondo, you may have wondered why they make such bold claims. Like, you can double your stocking rate compared to rotational grazing which was already double conventional or set stocking grazing management!

How can they state that long-lived soil organic carbon is our soil鈥檚 real fertility? And why does he claim that it is mainly created when stockpiling grasses and NOT when rotationally grazing?

First, we need to know that green leaves produce energy by photosynthesis, and stems consume energy by respiring. This means that the type of grazing will have a huge impact on how many green leaves will be created and how many stems will be left attached to the plant and continue to consume energy from the plant鈥檚 reserves which are in the crown and roots.

Okay, this means we need leafy pastures to increase the net energy produced by our pastures.

Then, we need to realize that if we leave stems attached ...

#110 Profitable Grazing while Improving Your Land

Uncategorized May 28, 2024

Hello there, I am Jim Elizondo and I鈥檓 very happy to tell you some new things that may help you reach your goals.

Did you know that some of us communicate in certain ways while others have a different preferred method of communication? Yes, there are different languages when it comes to understanding something, we all view reality and outside inputs in a different way.

It is not that there is something wrong with us, it is simply the way our brain is wired or how we were taught to learn.

Why am I talking about this? Because for many of us, seeing is believing, right?

Well, I am going to take this a little further: There are people that learn visually, there are people who learn by language, and there are people who need to hear or see something, interiorize it, and then come up with their own conclusions. And then there are others that need to see, feel, smell, and touch to be convinced of something.

Me? I want to understand something before I embark on it, especially if it is ...

#109 Using Livestock to Improve your Land

Uncategorized May 21, 2024

Hello, I hope you are well and thriving. I hope your Spring grass is coming up great and you have an abundance of fat livestock and are making more money by converting your grass to saleable products as efficiently as possible.

This is a series on the previous post on the onsite course we will have in Tallahassee, Florida at Ayavalla Land LLC this next June 21 and 22, (2024) Friday and Saturday after Father鈥檚 Day.

I named this onsite course: Increase your profits 300% with the 4 Pillars of Real Wealth Ranching for a reason.聽

Profits on livestock farms or ranches are hard to come by, most livestock owners lose money or break even 8 out of 10 years, and this needs to change. We can normally triple our profits by implementing the 4 Pillars of Real Wealth Ranching in your property.聽

How can I make such a claim? Most livestock owners around the world have the potential to reach that triple profits goal and many of our students in all environments are getting there.

In this large gr...
